It's easy, just get in touch and I'll work with you to create something unique and personal.

Here's some examples of previous commissions:

"Laytown"

Laytown, Co. Meath.

Laytown, Co. Meath.

This was a special request for a seascape in a wide format to suit a particular space.   The background wall colour was a vivid purple and the brief was to create a seascape that would tone in with it.

I visited Laytown on a couple of occasions to get images that I was happy to work with. From these images I created a scaled drawing as a reference.

Details added....it's difficult to do a piece on Laytown and not feature it's renowned coastal cottage....I don't usually do cottages, but I had to find a way to subtly include it!

Delivered....in more than one sense of the word....this piece is now hanging on the stairwell in the Maternity Unit, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.  I've received lovely feedback on it...words like restful, calm and serene are much appreciated.

"Mountain Heather"

A very special request for a scaled up "Mountain Heather" for a gift. This piece is now with a lovely family in Cleveland and holds a special place in their hearts.

"Errigal"

A lovely couple who are lucky enough to live within a stone's throw of Errigal Mountain in Co. Donegal contacted me to commission an original piece for their home. They had a space on their wall reserved for a piece of textile art and found me through an internet search. I was delighted to have been chosen to work on this commission. I know Errigal is a special place for them.

Emails flew back and forth and they sent me one of their favourite images to work with. I communicated with them throughout the process of making but the first time we met was when they collected their piece. Errigal has gone home to Donegal! Thank you both.

"Heather on the Hills"

This heather piece was a special request from the USA.  Kristen had purchased a piece of my work at the National Trust Shop at the Giant's Causeway Visitors Centre while touring Ireland.   When she returned home she decided she would like to order another piece and got in touch. She was looking for something with heather colours that reminded her of the Irish landscape. I offered a couple of suggestions and we settled on 'Heather on the Hills'.  With layers of merino wool, silk fibres, yarns and beads worked on a base of Donegal Tweed, it's another little piece of Ireland to add to her growing collection in Chattanooga  - so happy to be able to add to your memories of your wonderful vacation in Ireland. Thank you Kristen.
